Terms and Conditions

Please read the following points carefully as use of our Shop Online facility and purchase of goods by you means that you agree to them.

A1 Pupil Terms and Conditions

These terms and condition cover all of A1 Integrated Global services and we reserve the right to change these Terms from time to time. Any changes to these terms will take effect immediately and shall be notified to you.

Your Instructor

Your instructor is an employee (“Your Instructor”) of A1 Integrated Global but known as “A1 DRIVING SCHOOL/A1 DRIVING INSTITUTE” (“A1”, “We”, “Us”, “our”). Knack Media Limited acts as our online agent for receiving Your payments for driving tuition other than payments made directly by You to any of our Account information. Where A1 and /or Knack Media Limited makes bookings with, or supplies any information or documentation to You, or processes any payments for Your lessons, they act as the employee of Your Instructor. The contract for driving tuition is solely between you (“You”) and A1 Integrated Global. Payment are not to be made to any “Instructor” or (“Your Instructor”) except approved by A1.

Tuition

Tuition is only available to persons who meet the following criteria:

  • Aged 17 or over, or aged 16 or over.
  • Hold a valid learner’s permit pending age 18 for proper driver’s license processing.
  • Legally entitled to drive in the Nigeria.

Lessons

You and A1 are responsible for agreeing all matters relating to the timing, location and duration of individual lessons.

You must notify A1/Your Instructor of any matters which affect your ability or entitlement to have driving tuition, for example, but not limited to, any lack, or loss, of a valid driver’s license, learner’s permit.

Transferability of Lessons

You cannot sell or transfer lessons which have been purchased in Your name to any other person.

Pick and Drop

Our pick and drop are three days a week instead of five days a week for training and the fees varies depending on location.

Learning with an AC car

All our vehicle are equipped with air condition however, a cost of N700 per day apply.

Weather Conditions

Weather most times can be unpredictable, in an event of rain fall all training will be put on hold for that day.

Cancellation of Lessons

Cancellation of lesson is not allowed, once payment is made, you will NOT be entitled to a REFUND. We advise you get your facts right before registering for any of our lessons.

In the event of you having booked your driving training, you are required to complete your training within 1 month except otherwise you choose to extend your training period. In an event where you paid already and you didn’t show up for training within 1 month of payment your booking will be VOID and NO REFUND will be made to you. You will therefore be required to re-register should you still wish to learn how to drive at A1.

Refund Policy & Warranty

You are not entitled to cancel Your prepaid tuition at any time (for the provisions relating to the cancellation of individual lessons please see the “Cancellation of Lessons” above).

In the event of a “Buy one get one free” “Discounted” offer, no refund will take place. If you have paid using a prepaid gift card or A1 voucher, we will not be able to proceed to any refund after redemption of the card or voucher.

Payments and Lesson Bookings

You must pay for any tuition before the start of the lesson. You can use one of the following methods of payment:

  1. Payment by credit or debit card online at www.a1drivinginstitute.com (for initial lesson Purchases only);
  2. Payment by credit, or debit card through our POS terminal at the office.
  3. Transfer to any of our account information with payment evidence provided
  4. Voucher and gift cards have no cash value and have to be redeemed against tuition.
  5. Voucher and gift cards are not transferable once they have been redeemed.
  6. Payment by cheque direct to A1 Integrated Global (any cheque must be made payable to A1 Integrated Global or A1 Driving School)

Please note debit and credit cards are valid until the date shown thereon. A1 has no responsibility or liability to You for payments made by any other means. If You pay A1/Your Instructor directly by any method, you should obtain a receipt. A1 accepts no responsibility for any payments made directly to instructors.

In an event of Failed/Error in payment and you happen to be debited, you are required to contact your bank to get this issue resolved. A1 will not be held responsible for any error whatsoever encountered in using our Online Payment Platform / POS.

Price Changes

The cost of our tuition is based on the lesson price in force at the time of booking and can be changed at any time, any unused lessons remaining after 1 month have elapsed shall have any lesson price increase applied. See our refund policy above.

Special offers and discounts

A1 presents a great range of offers and discounts to new and existing learner pupils on learning to drive and other related products. A1 reserves the right to introduce (and to withdraw) special offers from time to time. Introductory offers are only available to new learner pupils, cannot be used in conjunction with other offers and are not transferable.

Fraud prevention

Your lessons are only valid if they are purchased through the channels outlined in the Payments and Lesson Bookings section set out above. If Your lessons have been purchased through another source, please contact us immediately on 01-2910533. In the event that some or all of Your lessons were not purchased in accordance with the foregoing terms, A1 reserve the right to suspend these lessons in Your account, with immediate effect. An investigation will then be conducted by the A1 in order to check the validity of the purchase. Where the results of the investigation determine that the lessons are not valid they will not be provided to You and A1 shall have no liability in these circumstances.

Insurance

Your Instructor will carry the appropriate motor insurance, should You be involved in a collision as a learner driver whilst in control of driving the Instructor’s tuition vehicle.

Complaints Procedure

If You have any concerns or complaints about any part of Your driving tuition/any of our services which cannot be resolved with Your Instructor, please contact the Customer Service Centre on 01-2910533. Where the Customer Service Centre is unable to resolve Your complaint to Your satisfaction, You will be entitled to refer the matter to Our Escalations Team who will use all reasonable endeavours to resolve your complaint within three working days.

In the unlikely event that You are unable to reach a satisfactory conclusion, we will be happy to investigate further until the matter is resolved.

HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION ABOUT YOU

Collecting your personal information helps A1 Integrated Global to better understand what you need. We use your information to: manage and improve the Website.

If you register and make payment for any of our services, we collect the following types of information from you:

  • Financial information – your credit card information’s are not store or seen in anyway. All payment are been processed by our online webpay partners.

Before permitting you to use our service, we may reqire you to provide additional information we can use to verify your identity or address or manage risk, such as your date of birth, or other information.

We store and process your personal information on our computer and we protect it by maintaining physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in compliance with applicable laws of Nigeria. We use computer safeguards such as firewalls and data encryption, we enforce physical access controls to our buildings and files, and we authorize access to personal information only for those employees who require it to fulfill their job responsibilities.

HOW WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION

To process your payments, we need to share some of your personal information with our webpay partners (PayU & PayStack) for your payment to be processed. ATM Card number or bank account number you use to pay A1 through Our Online Payment or Transfer is not stored, seen or used by anyone.

HOW WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH OTHER PARTIES

We may share your personal information with:

  • Service providers under contract who help with parts of our business operations; (fraud prevention, bill collection, marketing, technology services). Our contracts dictate that these service providers only use your information in connection with the services they perform for us and not for their own benefit.
  • Financial institution that we partner with, where we share information. These financial institutions may only use this information to market A1 – related products, unless you have given consent for other uses.
  • Companies that we plan to merge with or be acquired by. (Should such a combination occur, we will require that the new combined entity follow this privacy policy with respect to your personal information. If your personal information could be used contrary to this policy, you will receive prior notice.)
  • A1 will not sell or rent any of your personal information to third parties in the normal course of doing business and only shares your personal information with third parties as described in this policy.

We will never disclose your information to anyone outside A1. except where we have your consent; where we are required or permitted to do so by law; to other companies who provide a service to us; or any successors in title to our business.
